Presence in Tasmanian waters: confirmed.       Introduced?: no.       Extinct?: no.       Occurrence on Tasmanian beaches?: common.       Substrate: among rocks, stones, macroalgae, seagrasses etc..      Depth-range: intertidally to the shallow subtidal.      Tasmanian distribution: mainly in the north and east - view locality listing (if available)      Australian range: NSW, TAS and VIC      Global range: southeastern Australia and NZ

Shell-bearing? yes.       Typical adult shell-length: 22 mm.
