Assimineidae - Assimineinae: Cryptassiminea tasmanica (Tenison Woods) ('Tasmanian assiminea')  

Synonym(s): tasmanica Tenison Woods siennae Tenison Woods, 1877 bicincta Petterd, 1889.

Figures a-b: 5 mm, Flinders Island, Tas (N).

Typical shell-length 4 mm.  Lives intertidally on mud.  Endemic to southeastern Australia (TAS, VIC and SA).
